I'm a recruiter acting on a behalf of an international organisation specialising in storage solutions.
Due to their rapid grow worldwide and in Russia in particular I'm looking for highly qualified candidates for a postsales engineer role.

GENERAL SUMMARY
Perform installations, preventive and remedial maintenance of company’s equipment at customer locations and in different operating environments, with limited supervision as directed by management. Adhere to administrative policies and escalation procedures.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•Install and establish satisfactory operation of all company’s hardware and software
•Perform pro-active maintenance according to established procedures
•Adhere to proper escalation procedures. Perform part replacements as directed by service policies and procedures
•Includes the timely and accurate submission of all associated documentation as well as part returns within 24 hours of an event. Submit accurate and timely expense reports and timecards
•Prepare accurate cases records in Clarify at the completion of an event
•Assure complete customer satisfaction at assigned accounts by adherence to the following: prompt onsite arrival time, technical expertise, knowledge of customer environment, professionalism, periodic visits as needed
•Maintain all assigned spare parts, tools and personal test equipment
•Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or senior employee on-site. Create and maintain account notebooks for all assigned accounts
•Maintain microcode at current levels at all assigned accounts
•Attend training classes as required to develop and maintain a working knowledge of company’s equipment, software, OEM equipment and Basic configurations
•Diagnose limited system malfunctions to isolate problems to company, other OEM vendors or software and develop appropriate action plans
•Plan installation of new equipment including the creation of basic implementation configuration files

SKILLS
•Higher Technical education
•Strong troubleshooting skills. Several years of Field Service or Support Engineer in enterprise environment in an International IT vendor or in a local integrator
•Advance knowledge of major Operating Systems: UNIX (HP-UX, AIX, Solaris), Novell, Microsoft.
•Knowledge of Storage Area Network (SAN) theory and SAN HW and SW products; practical experience with storage systems (EMC, Sun, HDS, IBM) and Fiber Channel (FC) switches (Brocade, McData, QLogic)
•Excellent problem solving abilities and aptitude to understand and explain technical information.
•Ability to work on own initiative but also as part of a team
•Demonstrate flexibility and ability to learn quickly
•Excellent interpersonal, communications and time management skills
•Willingness to travel extensively to remote sites and provide technical support outside of office hours
•Fluent spoken and written English language skills
