Very simple there are several options you can use, if you are not a complete lummer....1) Boot into XP use the computer management tool to clear out the partition you want to install 98 into, remove the page file etc. Make sure that is not the partition where your XP boot files are. Once that is done boot into DOS using a boot disc run fdisk to change the active partition, Note: Beware of the cylinder limit when doing so, however I have 98 on my third partition and have not had any problems yet, a year. Next: Hide all of the other partitions and when you rebbot you should only see one partition (C:). Install 98 as normal. When you are finished unhide and mark your XP boot partition active, boot into XP the boot editting tool to make yourself a multi-boot option menu. If you have some experience I would recommend using a program like System Commander. You can do all the hiding and unhiding with Power Quest Partition Magic but it might only work with 98.
